Been more than 3 working days and yet giga have not yet ported my number over. Tried to reach out to the live agent for two days and no one reply too. I guess is really a hit or miss when you use their service.

I got this error 38 while trying to send an sms overseas
how to resolve it ah? can do it with myrepublic but can't do it with giga...

Anyone have issue getting network in JB.. roaming always connected to digi.. can manual select other network there?

In a way, Giga didn't increase price to "sell" 5G. They smartly promote it as "free 5G upgrade". Anyway, I didn't notice the 5G was crippled until I came back this thread to read again. Then I went to my network setting switch to 4G and 5G again, seemingly 5G network appears again. You may want to try it too, though it is strange why it should work this way...

Between Woodlands MRT and Kranji MRT, 5G will become 4G. I need to manually set to 5G in order get 5G. It was never meant to be way.

Sharing my experience yesterday. I was in the orchard area on the street (not underground) and reached home,all the way 5G data not running and my phone (Poco X6 Pro) not sure why not auto switching to 4G. Frustrated, reboot the phone, fingers crossed 5G running again

I'm on giga 4g and using Samsung S23 Ultra. Recently for the past few weeks the networks seems to be getting worse. Some same spots along the whole stretch of the road has data loading issue. Used to be working well. Not sure what is the issue. Giga live chat doesn't even work.
Anyone experiencing this as well?

I was over at jb last weekend.

Data roam turned on in settings (using android samsung s24)

Network operator was set to auto. After crossing borders, it got connected to celcom under H+ but no internet and nothing can be loaded. Restarted phone still the same.

Switched to manual select operator and selected maxis stayhome. Then it became 5G and is able to connect to internet.

I changed network operator back to automatic. It automatically switches between maxis stayhome and u mobile (depending on location). Both these operators were able to data roam with giga.
