giga no roaming calls? So can I call/sms someone outside Singapore? Do one need to add IDD pack to call overseas like Grid?

The port in option something like this (second row of the menu). So you don't need to sign up and port in at the same time. Port in can be done later.
1. Sign up with new number
2. After received sim card, can wait to activate the sim card. This is to sync billing cycle and time for your convenient.
3. After activate, port in anytime you want. It won't affect the billing cycle. You can port in after your old sim used up all the data/at the end of billing cycle.

thanks v much bro. After you select "port in to giga", is there an option to choose the specific plan for the port-in number? As i will be having 2 numbers with different plans in 1 account.

Each of the plans u subscribe is tagged to a phone number, so u just need to know which number belongs to which plan.

So yes, in the app or the website, u will be able to choose which account (which is identified by the phone number) to port in the outside number.

No need. It is really meant as a ready-to-use booster lor, so whenever u need to add extra talktime, then u buy. But it's up to u I suppose. If u need it all the time, then can buy it every month, otherwise just buy when u need it.

Very very disappointed with giga that they do this. That's why customers have been porting out of other telcos, because their promotions are not available to existing customers. Now giga is trying its best to piss loyal customers off.

In my situation, they are rewarding me.
I switched to the $18 plan ever since it was first available and now I'm getting upsized to 40gb
