My m1 contract expiring on 4 oct currently on mysim plan. Giga can port this in or do i have to sign sim only m1 first then can port in?

my wife M1 line contracts ends today,M1 boy told us to activate the port over only tmrw to allow a gap otherwise if port over too early M1 side may count me as early termination by 1 day so i thought only i need to port over tmrw not today

Bill cycle and tracking of usage matter. People like 1st of the month start new usage cycle for easier tracking. My usage will renew on 1st of the month 00:01 hours.

I activated 2 lines tonight at 0000 hours.
But only one got the 0000 hours stamp. The other had the 2359 stamp. I really should have waited 10 more seconds before I hit that activate button since there is no hurry as the activation time is round off to the minute.

My line is under my name. Another 2 lines are under my father's name, but I do have the login details so administration of the account is still done by me.

Yes. If one month 45GB totally unused, next month will be 90GB. But rollover one month only. That is why my wife*********s line consistently 70+GB every month. Until I decide to change hers to $10 plan.

I have a similar issue. I'm on $18 for 40GB and it's an overkill.
However, the $10 for 6GB may be a bit little. 12-15GB would be just nice.
It's all marketing to push you more data which you don't need

That's too sweeping. It's sufficient for my parent who uses less than 1gb per month and only require talk time.

The only way to change bill cycle is port-out to another telco and then port back.

Any idea when we have to activate by? I've looked through this thread and it seems like the ballpark figure is a month; what happens if you fail to activate - do you get to pick other numbers?
