Yes ok which still means that it is opt in by line owner not auto opt in and get charged for it with no intention to have roaming. Waiting for the poster to clarify his scenario.
ya in a way, i “opted in”.

but it is akin to i buy ntuc vouchers. the next time i checked out from ntuc, by default ntuc will deduct my vouchers first before allowing me to use cash/credit card

You can't compare directly imo.

U imagine when u connected to overseas roaming network, you need to connect to WiFi and then go to Giga app to activate the data bundle. Does it make sense? At that rate, might as well get a local prepaid?

You're getting data roaming because of convenience, not because it's cheap.

Giga line is registered to senior family member. If they pass away, can it still be ported out? And change the line to my own name?

Which telco is best to port to, that allows change of ownership?

I will advise you change name first before porting out. But issue is whether giga has anyone who will reply if you contact them. Tried that from M1 prepaid, then port to TPG

Giga how does the 5G pack work? Do I need to pay every month cause I'm not sure what it means "from today until renewal"?

Can anyone know why 4G+ speed only runs 20-30mbps download only?
Do they cap out our network download?
Hmm? It's location dependent.

Quite pleased with my giga speeds so far. This was taken in a housing estate.

which housing estate ?
Bedok. :) Was at a bus stop waiting for a bus so I thought to do tests.

Siglap/Chai Chee and Katong/Marine Parade areas gave me about 130-160Mbps, still pretty good.

Blew through a third of my 10GB speed testing in a few places. :s13:
