Starhub really needs to get its act together, I asked for direct ONT on sign up. They called to confirm that twice, today the technician who came down to install say they didn't provision for direct ONT. Seriously dunno what they doing, somemore confirm twice! :vijayadmin::s8:

Same thing happened to me and they took 7~10 days to solve it.

go disable your IPv6 and repeat the tests.

apparently imo, it seems alright.

and as mentioned, i said speedtest.com.sg not speedtest.net

the link as follows: Singapore Speedtest - The Singapore Broadband Speed Test - Powered By NewMedia Express - Singapore Web Hosting

and download this: http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreportsserver/CRS2008V1SP3FullServerWindows.exe - let it download for 200MB before you screen capture it.

screen capture your speed and paste it here.
Sorry for late reply as only happens at night, here are the screenshots.I added the Numion test starhub asked me to do.

:s31: U kidding me! Did they give you any compensation for the inconvenience?

I can still able to use their default DLink router to surf net via wireless (20~40Mbps).

Numerous calls made on the ONT issue and finally it took them 7~10 days to settle, now is happy customer. :)

Thinking of returning their default router to get the reward point.

Oh so u took the dlink router, I'm still on my cable connection as I asked for direct ONT from the onset so they didn't even bring that along. Quite annoyed that they ping pong the issue here, after two phone calls now they tell me its sales dept issue.

It's not I want to take their router, told them I wanna direct ONT during my signup but they did not stated this in the contract; on the installation day, the technician mentioned he will only followed the instruction on the paper and poor thing is if I reject the installation using their router on that day, I will need to arrange with SH to get another appointment date for direct ONT and this will subject to availability slot, :( thus I got no choice ask the technician to install first and called 1633 to make the complaint.

anyone experiencing slowdown at this moment? My web browser can barely load pages, let alone speedtest, which also dropped to a record low. Usually it posts 100mbps downlink and 49mbps uplink.

Last Result: Download Speed: 49878 kbps (6234.8 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 42887 kbps (5360.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
