Starhub Technican came to swap the Dlink router and reconfigured the network too.

Starhub D Link router -> 3rd party router(it's LAN port, not WAN)

On Starhub Dlink router : DHCP enabled, no DMZ enabled.

On 3rd party router: Internet connection type: DHCP. Built in DHCP disabled.

Both share same wireless SSID and have different IP address for accessing settings.
I can access the internet with both router so this seem to be an alternative setting too.

Meaning the method of where the 3rd unit in non-router mode lor. Functioning purely as a switch + Wireless AP

But it does not solve the issue of D-Link router problem nor allow 1 less equipment

Torrents are out, usenet is OK

Yup. Follow the thread below and if possible, help bro wrap0nx & Qubicfactor out so that the firmware can be release & tested faster..;)

Using own router/Asus RT-N56u with M1, SingTel possible, how about Starhub? - www.hardwarezone.com.sg

Had already done my part for bro weap0nx to collect some data but believe that he will be needing more to confirm a thing or two.:D:D:D
Confirmation of different VLAN (Internet) for different plans already provided in the KnowledgeBase thread. Not sure what other info still pending.

Hi everyone, ask you all.

I'm still under the MaxOnline Premium contract for cable modem which runs out in about a couple of months. Any way to sign up a new 2-year MaxInfinity contract under another name or something? I don't really mind overlap 1-2 months of service, just want to get on board the fibre bandwagon :)

If cannot then will just have to wait it out.

Try calling 1630 and check if possible to upgrade to FBB for those with existing MOL contract.

I think they should allow your Maxonline to overlap. If ur house's fiber is service operational there's a waiting time of 1-2 months after signing up, so you still can finish ur Maxonline contract meanwhile.

Hi, what kinda waiting time of 1-2 months after signing up? Does this means if I call starhub to signup now, still got to wait 1-2 months before can use the fibre?
Thanks.
