my direct downloads are getting cut off after running for a short while.

anyone experiencing the same problem?

Ok on my side, experiencing some throttling during peak periods (at night, weekends etc). Non-peak periods can hit maybe around 4-5 MB/sec (that's Megabytes).

Hmm, Tokyo speeds seem close enough, but pretty big difference for California. This one really YMMV for different people.

I think you're using San Jose, CA [US] - Internode, whereas he's using San Jose, CA [US] - SoftLayer Technologies, Inc.

Why not you give SoftLayer a try? I'm sure your speed will pick up.

im also having a hard time to browse international website. the page will load very slow sometimes just blank. need to refresh a few times to load.

called starhub to report issue seems they all blur like I'm just the one have this problem. do nonsense things like speedtest and traceroute. even if I told them that connection no issue, issue is browsing, cannot browse. then ask to browse youtube and channel news asia. of course no issue because these sites are local and already cache in their proxy. *headache

Same problem! Yesterday StarHub technician came to check and upgrade

firmware from 1.04 to 1.06SHC Internet tested OK but Unable to open some

of the add. However tested with StarHub 3G/4G Mobile network Able to view

the side. He called back StarHub office to report that and told me is the

Fibre side Block the add. I am still waiting for StarHub to fix it.

I suggest to mask ur PC mac to ur Wan mac and reboot the ONT and router. U should then be on the new segment. See if things get better.

Last time they always ask you to reinstall windows.. now only traceroute and speedtest.. consider it an "improvement" :D
