NVNT.=:p

So here's a vid of me pulling 4 plates.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp9vzADQr2Y

Is a 5 plater raw, double overhand hook grip possible by New Year's Eve?

If you ask me honestly, i think you can get the job done easier if you had push your shins more into the bar.The hips seem a little high.I really think you could have gotten 5-10kg more if you had done that.Which makes it about 195kg..nice :)

Btw it appears that one side of you back favours the other..a bit slated.

Today, gym a bit crowded so no choice had to take a back view, haha;)

Next time then take side view.

Btw,

actually,I was a bit ill for the past few days.(slight cold and sore throat) and I read that you shouldn't do too much RE when you are sick. Today was supposed to be front squat+accessories day. So I cut out the assistance work(coz I know Bulgarian split squats will leave me wheezing) and did only ME for front squat+DL and called it a day.

Do you find yourself hitting PRs when you're slightly ill? This seem to be the case for most people.

how's your routine like?

Just finished the russian squat routine with maintenance work on other lifts.

Now my routine is like:

Day 1: heavy squat / light 'posterior chain work'

Day 2: heavy vertical press + pull, light horizontal press + pull

Day 3: heavy DL / light 'squat work'

Day 4: heavy horizontal press + pull, light vertical press + pull

Not sure if i neglected other aspects of my training.

Very similar to mine.

E.g.

Mon-front squats(heavy)+box squats(light)+Bulgarian squats(light)+core

Tues-weighted pullups(heavy)+military presses(light)+rows(light)+cheat curls(light)

Thurs-deadlifts(heavy)+front squats(light)+DE deadlifts/pull throughs(light)+core

Fri-military presses(heavy)+pullups(light)+weighted dips(light)+extensions(light)

In this way, each bodypart is hit twice a week.

Guess u muz be one of those cjc dragonboaters there. Only botha i seen there is this dude wearing long socks when deadlifting.

Too chicken to try smolov, russian squat is more cns and joints-friendly for me. :s13:
5% improvement is projected according to the routine.
