Hi Thanks, any kind souls got recommendations for yilan hotel?

was thinking of doing tapei ------ yilan (for Kids) ----- taipei

You might want to check out those cold spring hotels in Su Ao... which is at the southern end of Yilan...

Their cold springs are unique... its kind of bubbling but cold... u can see bubbles forming on your skin when you soaked in it... quite popular in the summer...

Stayed at Lakeshore Suao last time... there are both hot spring and cold spring in the room... and can see sunrise in the morning from the room balcony...

Anyone stayed at Cosmos Hotel in Taipei recently? Was there years ago but not sure how's the condition after covid. Thinking of booking there as it is super convenient but hope its not too run down.

Any field report is appreciated.

sound insulation is rather bad if u r a light sleeper... Late night and early morning can hear people chatting if u got a room along the passageway...

But still one of my best choice to book as accommodation...

You can also consider Roaders Hotel at Ximen if u dun mind around 8 to 10 mins walk from Ximen station...

rainbow is very old. u can try this airbnb hotel style which i stayed last month. PM me

It is very old. I last stayed there more than 10years ago, and heard strange noises late at night.

my gf, now missus, reminds me not to book there again for our next trip.

it was a strange knocking sound that came from the pipes outside the windows. the noise was so loud it woke both of us up.

and it was creepy. after i had turned on the telly, the sound went away.

no more Rainbow hotel for us.
