Strongly recommend Galaxy Inn Hotel!!! best! super cheap max$60 SGD. at XMD. super convenient. very short walk to mrt. very peaceful no extra noise. i spend 1 week ther. Very friendly customer service.

i would really recommend dont need spend more than $100 for hotel stay. taiwan food is everywhere to be found. so dont need to rely on hotel food.(refering to breakfast) n security wise XMD is safe. Galaxy Inn Hotel is right opposite Police Headquarter. n mainly becoz we spend alot of time walking in Taiwan. When u reach the station u wouldnt wanna spend any more energy walking the extra mile to ur hotel. Galaxy Inn hotel is a few steps away only. really highly recommend. haha

will be travelling with 2 kids. am looking for something clean and spacious.
Damage, ~200 - 250.

VIA hotel XMD is closed... I think they have 1 outlet near TMS is still operating... The one near TMS, I never stay before... Walking distance from Xin Guang San Yue...

I stayed in Roaders Hotel XMD in 2022 Dec... Basement has free snacks and soft drinks... Got a basketball machine, photobooth (printout in A4 paper), Air Hockey machine, got tables and chairs, sofa and movie screening...

Room relatively clean imo, toilet bowl cannot throw toilet paper (some singaporeans are rather concern about this as not used to their culture...), room size okay only... can open 1 28" luggage bag at a time on the floor...

7-11 (Sanrio Theme) just 50m away from the hotel entrance... XMD Metro Exit 5 (No lift access)...

Let me know what else u like to know...

If you are going to many places via the metro, stay at TMS. It's a hassle to change lines as TMS is very big and it takes some time to get to the line you are going.

For convenience, TMS is the best.

I'll be staying at cosmos in Aug.

Yilan is popular for Hot Spring hotels. These 2 are rather popular. One is more expensive

For Ximending hotels, it seems like Family Room size are limited and most are already booked for the Dec holidays. Not cheap too as that is peak period. Got to book early.
