No such thing as investment for 20 years unless u buy into a growth company. Timing is important. Bull market only when US is printing money. Now US stop printing and going to increase rtes, big bubbles already bursting. Those holding to stocks, suffer huge paper loss. If U buy dick tom and hairy stocks, all go up the lorry after the pumping and dumping is over. U carry the bags of poo and many going bankrupt and delisted. Temasek and GIC always kena clobbered overseas. May be can control and maniuplate some SGX stocks like Olam from the money in CPF and money printing. How nice to get somebody money to buy high for me to get out!

Don say like that ma. I bought olam last time too. Anyway, I think you dinno there is someone willing to buy part of olam at even higher price from Temasek, dunno what Mitsubishi Agri blah blah.... That's why olam price surged last week.

You never count increase in assets? Like those core companies sg investment fund acquire over the years? :) or they don't worth a single cent?
Need external auditors to verify. Lack of transparency. Many people discuss in other forums. Many of the rubbish stocks drop 80% e.g China Yurun bot at HK$24 now left less than HK$2. Many stocks are junks and underwater except a few like Alibaba. Even blue chips also got hit and not to mention unknown companies in certain hard hit sectors like O&G, commodities, properties, etc BIG world market crash gathering steam. All want USD. Repeat of 1997/1998 Asia financial crisis but now world financial crisis! Big write off or write down? None my business. I JUST STAY OUT OF STOCKS!

The first one I think not true leh.
But second one and third one I agree.

Thanks for pointing out bro.

filet o fish was $2.20 in 1982.

I remembered the price and taste vividly. My aunt bought this burger for me at Mcd. I took one bite and almost vomitted. It was my first time tasting tartar sauce with pickle bits. the sour and salty taste made me almost puke as I associate sour and salty taste with spoilt milk.

I had to scrape the sauce off the burger.

They got funds overseas and control some companies. U buy mine I buy yours, cross-holding, etc. Go take a look at Olam debts and fundamentals. I won't buy it. Temasek can throw more money in it. I also won't buy stocks in the wrong sector with huge debts.

Deflation? Price decrease is proportion to size decrease so actually is no change

If size remain and price went down, that is deflation for you

But hor, those companies under sg investment funds, value increases a lot, like local banks etc.

Normally if a country is in trouble/or faces future financial instability, there will be downgrade by rating firm. Perhaps the rating firms are biased as well. :) Hee Hee.

do note Enron and Lehman Bros were AAA rated one day before they went bankrupt. :(

Frankly speaking, I think their investment strategy not that good also. But most of the time, I think they have to buy something that is in national interest, for example, olam.
But I think as long as the company is still generating positive cash flow, it should be just doing fine and vibe.

Singapore $300 billions quantitative easing will bite hard in the months ahead. Your banks and CPF savings have been diluted by money printing. Buy USD to protect yourself. Shout for the Return of our CPF.

Only HHH is fighting hard for the return of our CPF for the last 3 years.

Suggest buy gold or euro better

By the way, that chart doesn't really tell you what common people in that country live.
USA is a country with such a high debt, but their things are so cheap coz most of them are produced locally.

Back to the bread talk breads, you can buy those breads at neighborhood shops at sgd 1.30
Flour price has increased sharply across the whole world, not just singapore.

Their things are cheap cos produce locally? If it is cheap why would apple outsource manufacturing to China and India? Want to talk also need to make sense leh

That chart only affirms that money is created from debt, sg one of the richest country in the world, same goes for debt level

They should not buy more than 4.9% of any stocks. Can sell fast when technicals turn bearish. Investing based on historical fundamentals very dangerous. Good luck to them, they can keep for 20 years investment. They lose all the money, I also not interested

But I want my CPF money back. Support HHH for the "Return Our CPF".
