yes.. now vpost u dun need to email them the invoice they will declare the item for u.. SSDs are light and small box hopefully the shipping will be cheap

depends..for comgateway

no matter ur ssd weigh 200gram or 150gram.. u will be charge on the first kg.

hey guys,

im preparing to upgrade my laptop hdd to a ssd. i will be cloning the hdd image over to the ssd. one thing im rather concerned about is the alignment issue.

i have checked my hdd alignment:

Partition Disk #0, Partition #0
Partition Size 25.00 GB (26,843,545,600 bytes)
Partition Starting Offset 1,048,576 bytes
Partition Disk #0, Partition #1
Partition Size 186.30 GB (200,043,134,976 bytes)
Partition Starting Offset 26,844,594,176 bytes
Partition Disk #0, Partition #2
Partition Size 254.46 GB (273,219,059,712 bytes)
Partition Starting Offset 226,887,729,152 bytes

the starting offset is divisible by 4096. However, it seems that the starting offset is rather large? i read some articles online that the starting offset for ssd is usually 1MB, 1024bytes.

if i were to restore a system image of partition#1 (which i presume is the C:/) on my new ssd, will the starting offset of my ssd be automatically aligned at 1MB? or will it be 26,844,594,176 bytes?

anyway is it normal for hdd starting offset to be that large?

i think 1024bytes shud be 1kB, and 1048576 is 1MB...? anyway mine is same offset 1048576.

It's not a fast SSD actually.

BTW this is my score after flashing to the latest firmware. It's not a OS drive BTW.
