my 50m freestyle timing 40+ secs. always last in swimming competition.

i think my posture, technique not good and not used to the pool at ocbc aquatic centre. i find the competition pool at ocbc aquatic centre to be longer than normal 50m swimming pool

@jdrevolutionary23 got one whole thread on swimming sia

I also like to swim. Breast stroke only 10 laps once a week at full length swimming pool.

I count one lap as “to”. But very difficult to lose weight.

Diet more important. Did you cut down on calories intake?

Well trying best is not good enough. Need discipline.

is about what you eat too. Can eat all those whole grains one to last longer.

negative calories is necessary to lose weight

my 50m freestyle pb 40s

still managed to pwn a few si ginna from swimming clubs

you cannot compare with those teenagers or kids in swimming meets. they train 2 times a day , 5 to 6 days per week. we working adults where got time to train? some more most swimmers peak at 15-20 yo. of course our timing will be slower when we are above 30yo since our bodies are ageing . it is like amateur soccer team Maidstone United competing against liverpool in FA cup third round. confirm lose until damn lao kui one. you can't expect an amateur soccer player holding a full time job to pwn Mo salah

those 30yo and above master swimmers who can swim fast usually have competitive swimming background so they can still chiong 20-40s
