All equally good, many try Chunghwa including me, 4G unlimited, connection very good in alishan, cingjing, mrt, tra and hsr. :s13:
Saw on Klook for 15 days 4GB it's $30.89. Any cheaper options?

Otherwise kkday wifi router for $1/day will come up to $15.

Actually, it really depends on (1) your phone, and (2) your needs.

1. Your phone. For iPhone, I understand only 1 sim card. So depends on whether do you want to get TW sim card cause it means no one can contact your via your SG line. Of cause, still can Whatsapp.

2. Your needs. If you have a dual sim phone, inserted with a SG sim and Memory card, it means you have to drop either one if you want to use TW SIM. At the same time, if you are willing to pay close to $20, there are TW SIM cards that offers UNLIMITED data.

Personally, after my recent trip, I would recommend getting TW SIM for (1) no one can disturb you on holiday via SG calls cause SG SIM is removed, (2) cost saving from possibly having to pick up SG calls.

Hope this helps u in your decision making.

Thanks! I might settle for wifi egg instead. Can share with my wife. Might still need my SG line to be active.

7 days 600 ntd, they just pass to me, I insert sim card at their counter. Straight can use, don't need to activate.

I see. Just out of curiosity, why would people chose sim card over wifi egg ah? Wifi egg is much cheaper and can be shared with a few device. And the hassle of changing sim card. Or is it just simply in terms of data speed, sim card > wifi router that simple?

Depend on your usage. wifi router is good for a small group of ppl to share and if don't need to call locally. I have tried it a few times in different countries, so far no problem. A old phone can also use to act as a router too, but battery will drain very fast.
Sim card, I just try once in tw during last year, result super good. Good for solo or couple, can use to call locally. Sim card will not change your phone setting and other things, just choose to use back the phone number.

I booked the Klook sim card, very easy to use. Even though it kept reminding us to top up upon 5 day usage to extend validity, it's actually no need to. We booked a 10 day sim card. Can call, can unlimited data. Total cost is cheaper if you refer a new user to book. We paid about $16. Use a CIMB cc to pay, can get back 10%, so it's about $14 for unlimited 4g data.

Liek what Andrew said, egg or sim card, is really dependent on your own usage.

Eg, small group movement and will always be together de, get an egg.

Small group movement but got individual acitvities de, get Sim card.

Cause you must be near to each other to stay connected. But if one chooses to go to one place, and the other another place, then GG le.

Both are equally effective and serves its function well.

The key question is, what do you need?

Need to change sim card may be a good thing. Ppl can't contact you on yr SG number, if you are a Apple user. :)
