chinese Sinks only know broken english, and barely chinese, already lose to every ASEAN white collar who can speak ASEAN language and decent english, lose to South Asians who can speak english and has a huge motherland and unfair cheap IT advantage

chinese Sinks also lose out to PRC who with decent english and can speak & write business chinese serving the hugh pool of millionaire PRC looking to park money in ASEAN.

it is no wonder Sinks can only grab, taxi, and hide in pappies GLCs and civil service.

The criteria for retrenchment is no longer about who is performing and whos not. It is purely about whether your job is still relevant to the company.

The relationship between employees and employers is like that of doggies and human shopping for doggies. You can only hope the person buying the doggies don't buy on impulse out of boredom etc and discard the doggies when the interest die off. If there is really a need to discard the doggies, don't abandon them at the road side but please dispose the unwanted doggies at animal shelters.

Correct. Just like how when a doggies become an eyes sore, it can be disposed off easily fast. Some hardcore one just throw them out the door and leave it to fed for itself.

Singapore companies are always the winners.

It is already good that a company got retrenchment benefits that pay 2 weeks for every one year worked etc etc ...

Most companies got only one month salary in lieu and/or one month notice for termination.
So be grateful
