According to Singapore's number 1 Tesla guru, you should buy and hold 10 years and possibly more.

https://youtu.be/ovmp-xsRPGs

His advice is very similar to PM Goh who sold us those Singtel shares in 1993/1996. For those who bought and are still holding, how good is that advice 25+ years later?

Queued at $348 yesterday... no luck.
The first hour of yesterday trading was crazy. I thought it will go below $350.

Stay focus to acquire at low price now. It may come again..

Risky to buy ATM call options. near term OTM also risky.
speculative and manipulative , buy real shares that you can control the time element.

The large number of long term "buy-and-hold" investors is why traders like Softbank's Akshay Naheta love to pump Tesla. When things go wrong and they need to scratch the trade, there will be these "buy-and-hold" investors to come in to buy the dip and let them get out.

he's not a guru... a snake oil salesman

for him to suggest to buy now at these prices is just a scam

It is just his opinion. Take it with a pinch of salt.

I dunno how it can be a "scam". Lol ******************

He is a youtuber who earns $ from views. He got lucky on his initial call to buy Telsa and has quite a large following who think he is an investment "guru". He also sells courses. He has been looking for his next Tesla but so far, no luck.

People call me Ken. I am the founder of an options mastery program that empowers thousands of people to financial freedom. I own a local company that manufactures world-class trophies, and an investment company in the UK. I am also an inspirational blogger who has been reaching out to thousands of people since 2014.

My portfolio is pretty diversified. I draw inspirations from successful people, and I realize that they all have one thing in common—a diversified portfolio that is a great defense in case your investment thesis goes wrong.

I'm currently invested in an infrastructure project that builds sewage pipes, cabling, etc., on pieces of land before they are handed over to developers. I also invest in real estate and pension-grade investment products in the UK, as well as stocks and bonds all over the world. Recently, I also began investing in treasury bills.

was watching this yesterday :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBG6JWjrNAs&feature=youtu.be

1 look at S1 filing to get an overview
2 look for core advantage
3 find their business model ( investors presentation)
4 look at the numbers : revenue / margins/ expenses/ net loss or profit
5 make own valuations projections with visibility
6 compare future market cap with current market cap
7 see if they have an exceptional CEO
8 look at what product owners are saying
9 look at competition
10 go back to key question

tl;dw , maybe a 3 - 5 x , unlikely to be a 10x generational company
:eek::eek::eek:

lao goh let unker and aunties buy at 1993 $2 ipo. in 2005 $2.5 shud alrdy sell. + dividends collected over the yrs can alrdy.
i a bit horse back, but after 2004 lao goh hand over, alrdy can see signs of weakening.
even if 2005 dun sell, after LHY step down as chairman in 2007, shud hav sense something wrong oso.
one generation unlike one generation.

There are some uncles/aunties who are still holding. Recently because of COVID19 and the stories of big money playing stocks, they were finally thinking of selling. They were thinking that because it is a big famous GLC, it would be worth like $20 now. They were crushed to learn the actual price.
