caliper is like 30% about knowing how to recognize picture patterns, other 70% is personality questions. Just do not give extreme end answers. For example from a scale of 1-10, do not answer 1 or 10 most of the time, the system can determine whether the answers are legit or not.

I believe when DB was mentioned earlier, it would very likely meant to be Deutsche Bank & not DBS.

there is no real time limit for the caliper assessment but they write it will take around 60 minutes to complete.

For those who have been offered/had interviews for this program, what sort of experience/skills have you brushed up on prior to applying?

for caliper test, you must not give extreme ends answers (eg 1 or 10 rating) in personality trait questions. Otherwise it makes personal profiling invalid. For the cognitive section, you need to find ways to practice figural analogy, figural series, figural matrices and number series. The cognitive test is time consuming.

as for the interview, knowing the track that you applied is much more important than knowing the company and financial institution. For example I only applied cloud computing and its ideal to have hands on practice with public cloud such as aws, azure or gcp. on a general level, best to have some knowledge on linux systems, networking layer, security and some database knowledge. It may be overwhelming, but you need to find a way to know as much as possible before interview.

Yea agree! If you have some relevant experience, I believe the interviewers will deep dive into it.

Also, wondering @jgyy1990 how long did IBF take to return with the offer from your last interview?

14th July for UOB

both of them in the afternoon. I have until this Saturday to choose. More likely OCBC cause I feel that since they are hiring more people compared to UOB, there may potentially be more perm slots over time.

But of course the downside is that whenever there is more employees, the competition became fiercer.

I have been accepted for DA by GS as of this afternoon.

But I would like to assure anyone who think you may not be good enough too.
I have a dip in Aerospace, degree in psych. I have been working in FnB since graduation. No experience in tech whatsoever.

I was anxious as hell for all the interviews, but as many have mentioned, they are tailored to your level of expertise.

So all the best to the rest who are awaiting.

no offer for me till now bro. i think i screwed up some programming questions. haha.

since you are in-between job, i think they will give you priority if you apply and they pay $1,200 a month and you can drop out anytime if you got a job offer.

i really wish no one is jobless here especially during this covid crisis period. really hope everyone of you who are jobless will quickly get the job that you like to provide for yourself and your family. cheers
