Z5 compact review by androidauthority

PROS
Ideal for those looking for a sub five inch phone.
Flagship specifications.
IP certification.
Sony apps and extra features.
Great battery.
CONS
720p display not for the spec hungry.
Small screen not optimal for some activities.
Camera doesn't live up to its hype.
Overheats when recording 4K video.

They are being foolish to list small screen as a disadvantage.
The phone was made to be small, and people who buy it are those who prefer smaller phones. :s13:

did you even read the review lol.

that point was meant for people who want to use their phone for gaming, reading , web browsing etc. 4.6" screen isn't the best size for doing all that.

it's a review. it's meant to tell the average person what this phone is best for (compact size for those who want it) and if you're looking to use it for big media consuming etc then Z5C is obviously not a very good choice.

as for battery life, z5 premium have larger battery (3430mAh) vs z5 (2900mAh). so that might helped offset the battery consumption

usage wise might see no improvement. higher mAh is to compensate the bigger screen.

all my fingers are registered
so i can use any fingers to unlock
so far so good unless it is obviously not my fingers that kanna the sensor :p

is the scanner really foolproof? can it really reject other fingerprints?

Whats the freebies from singtel? I only saw m1 post

a measly 64GB microSD card. dunno what brand, what Class, what r/w speed. I can buy a Strontium 64GB Class 10 SDXC card for $30.. really lame gift. M1 gives the dock I remember.

the fingerprint scanner should work similarly to the iPhone and Galaxy phones. press once to wake up the phone and then rest the registered prints on it to unlock.

it's generally fool-proof.

Attention seeker.

Yes. Also depending on individual usage the higher mAh might serve better purpose.

Yes tested during hands on session. Really works only the finger you used. It will take 20 fingerprints. Worked error free for me

Sounds great. I thought it will only accept a few fingerprints. :D

Well I kena a few times that my Sumire didn't accept my fingerprint. Up to dunno 4 or 5 misses it will disable fingerprint scanning temporarily and forces you to manually input passwordto unlock the phone.

It really rejects fingerprints other than your 5 registered ones.

Z5 works just like iphone finger print scanner.

The key is to registered the finger in position of the way you normally use it

Unregistered finger prints are denied access

lol they copy and pasted the Z5C camera section word-for-word... even the words "compact" are everywhere.

but eww... why are the cameras so bad.. but kudos to Sony for hyping up the Z5 series.. all over reddit and hardwarezone so many of us were so excited for these phones :s22:

just feel quite bad for Sony cos all the attention got grabbed away by the Nexus reviews

so mean fruity5 n below can throw away loh....:s13:
