Hi, EC previously wasn't in our consideration but over CNY my husband and I decided to take a look at Criterion.

With only so few units left, we are keen on Blk3, #01-06.

Anyone has any quick opinions? :s22:

Is based on location
Even private condo like miltonia residences, etc also not that expensive

But Sg is so small. Everywhere is also assessible. At most you spend like 30 min extra in public transportation

I used to stay in ulu Singapore but move to RCR.
The price difference is significant for
CCR / RCR / OCR & there are reasons.
A 5-minutes standing is different from a packed 3/4 hour standing with/without transfer.
You also save on sleeping time / home earlier.

I think #02-37 might be better than #01-06

#01-06 bedroom faces road direction. On diagram, there is a partition wall. But not sure how well it will insulate the sound out & whether it will be more dusty

But #02-37 prob cost more I think & higher monthly maintenance fees

Personally I like first level floor. But my family hates it
So llst, get a high level

First floor can just walk over to the swimming pool and got a secondary gate which is easier to go in and out

And no need to deal with horror lifts which keeps breaking down

I think #01-06 is not blocked by any partition wall as it is on elevated ground. It's not really near the road, still quite a distance and it's on higher level too. May not be too bad. As for #02-37, maybe a bit close to Signature units. Best is go on site and check out the distance.

think the share value should be the same (maintenance),
between stack 37, 2 and 6, i would rank it like this :
37 > 6 > 2

stack 6 con :
facing the entrance, even though there is a partition wall, i think the vehicles might be an issue, the noise + chance of lights beaming into the house, good thing is you save time walking into the condo :D can easily walk out to take a bus (for your members who do not drive)

stack 2 con :
facing substation, there is a reading grove there, might have teenagers chilling there peeking at your house

stack 37 con :
facing tennis court / yoga lawn :D maybe can see chio bu doing yoga :s13:

not much diff between patio and 2nd level, its a love or hate thing, some people like patio, some hate it, there would be a niche market for patio buyers next time if you intend to sell/rent, i don't think there will be anyone though who likes 2nd level.

i don't know how much are you in a rush to secure a house but the next few batches of BTO will be around 3 years (compared to 5 years wait), the tampines BTO was under subscribed :D can wait for the next BTO if you are keen

Thanks for all the info. Actually we were not considering EC initially so didn't have much research done. Will make arrangements to visit the showflat etc. very soon.

Does anyone have the layout of Blk 3? Or Blk1? I assume it would be similar?

Blk 1 & 3 same layout. I assume you are asking where is the rubbish chute. Stack 02, 06 & 37 all near to rubbish chute.
