Nah. Never drop before. Didnt even have any screen burn in issues. Always in low brightness. Seldom go over 50% except outdoors.

Lol. 1 firmware update and screen goes haywire.

Reported to samsung. No reply. Can predict, even if go down service center, they will surely say its hardware problem. Change whole lcd. Money money.

Haiz. Shouldnt have updated. Actually they can push security update only, dont need to firmware update.

i'm trying to back up my phone but when i connect the phone to my laptop and browse to the whatsapp media folder. there's no file shown to me. however when i browse from the phone, all my images are there.

i read online to look for a nomedia file but there's no such file in the folder when i browse via the phone.
some online article mention abt Clear Data, and tap Clear Cache for the storage app which i did also but still cannot see anything.
The usb option is set to either "Transfer media files or transfer images" also no use.
any one can help here?

Me loh. 5G still in its infancy and coverage is patchy. Some more not all phones support mmWave and the different mix and match of NSA and SA etc.

Wait till 5G fully deployed and widely available then change phone loh. Plus now 5G charged as an addon/VAS. Wait till it is standard package in the plan.

Now change phone -> no proper network to support. Proper network up -> the early 5g phones their support might not be there.

Updated liao. I am surprised that it still has fw updates up till now.

I find the phone getting slower these days. Playing simple games like Azur Lane the game will have a lag spike at the beginning of each battle for no reason.

Battery life also not as good liao. Basically need to recharge everyday.

Still, it is a workhorse that keeps on going. So no point changing till better 5G phones and 5G becomes standard in mobile plans and not charged as an add-on/VAS.

Yup... just got the Jan 2021 security update... this phone is about 4 years old already... still good, still fast... only my battery can't tahan one day usage anymore... I'll probably get it replaced and the phone will be as good as new again... only issue is the loss of data... quite annoying to have to reset everything...

That is the case with any phones. Plus the fact it uses the Exynos chipset makes it worse.
