allright bro, i will contact HNG directly on the stuffs i have in mind now thanks to your feedback! anyway peeps, here's another leather maker that u might want to put into ur consideration the next time u think about leathers! more choices wont harm yea? (as for now, keep any comments on this coming in yea, good stuffs are oways meant to share)

saw your cross post at sufu also. i asked the same question to the owner himself in person before, if what i remembered was correct, this is what he said, he wanted to be like goro, without any obvious ads yet being able to succeed. hope that answer your question.

^of cuz everyone has his own idea about his brand. but if there are people out there who think that he is good, his work are worth our bucks, we should spread the word.

its oways nice to have alternatives to choose from. if i had not been looking around, i would not have come across HNG either. (honestly speaking i was alr about to make a visit to 310) more brands out there, more competition yea? def would be of beneficial to us. you have any pics of the products u got frm HNG bro, mind sharing?

well, just raising awareness. lol :s22:

Ooops, sorry forgot details. Something thin and lower profile, not too chunky. Simple button closure would suffice I imagine.

Anybody heard of Hyde and Co.? They're a local based company I think but they don't have a physical retail presence.

I ordered a corter leather classic bifold in natural but I actually received a shell cordovan so I'm in a dilemma. I want a natural because of the aging and patina. But the cordovan smells absolutely amazing. To add, the shell costs more than twice that of the natural veg tan. :/

I know. Which is why I'm feeling mixed. The photo looks reddish to me but in real life its like a tanned natural veg tan

As much as I support leather crafters and appreciate their painstaking work, if a retailer sends you a wrong item for an item that I already paid. I don't expect to top up the difference. I don't wish to take advantage of the situation but it wasn't my fault that I got a wrong item. So I will just keep the cordovan and will not top up the difference.

Yes. I told Eric (corter) that I had received the wrong item. He said he can send out the correct item after I provide him with a tracking number. Then I just decided to keep the cordovan not cause of the monetary value but I don't remember natural veg tan smells this good as I have their belt. Plus he requested for the full difference.
