Btw LaserEYE, just to clarify, the 20% store discount you got is from the Metro at Compass Point? 'cos if it is then i'd assume it would also apply to all the other Metro outlets too, then i guess everyone here can also visit their nearest Metro outlet for their Longshots.

I called Metro in Compass Point, salesgirl said got 20% storewide on 6th Dec only, but not for Longshot as its new.. Anyway, OG is having 20% storewide till 8th Dec, I went to get my longshot and it also comes with the free target board. I went to OG at People's Park, left only 2-3 longshots when I took mine.. Salesgirl mentioned selling really fast..

Luckly you informed us... therefore, Metro's store discount does not include Longshots, we'll have to take note.

So i guess the place to get Longshots this weekend is OG, which has 20% store discount for Longshot + free Nerf target board.

Takashimaya having Iron Man Blasters on promo at $20 bucks is a big surprise too... i should have wrestled through the crowd and checked those toy fair shelves in more detail.

Whoa... really have to be fast to catch these special store promotions!

Also.. Was wondering why none of you mention that the N-Strike Tech Target is selling in Toys R Us at $39.90..

Imho, the Tech Target is abit of an oddity in the Nerf range, its an electronic target board with flashing lights, and a single-shot pull-back nerf pistol.

Maybe because the Tech Target's design also looks abit old (the pistol resembles something from the '80s!), so i guess thats probably why not many people are keen on it.


On the otherhand, check out the Nerf N-Strike Disk Shot, now thats a skeet/trap shooting device worth considering, i've been looking to get one for quite a while. Not avaliable in singapore yet though, so i might actually just order a set online soon.
