How long does your nexus 4 battery last? and how long does yours take to full charge from less than 4%?

I read on xda this method creates some problems though it does increase the probability of getting the ota sooner..

after trying that, i logon to google play on browser it cannot detect my phone is on my account to install apps OTA anymore :(

FINALLY got on my screen protector. this time, i read the instructions carefully. didn't use the hinge method (but thx keen) because i find that after peeling off the 1st layer and getting it to stick, the whole piece tends to move slightly away from the loose tape hinge.

didn't do it in the bathroom because i'll get screwed for steaming up the whole bathroom for a screen protector. stuck it on slow and easy, got tape to remove off small specks of dust underneath (thx 52gdpl!!!!!) and even peeled it off twice to readjust.

i guess the place where you do it matters a big deal, my room's table is dusty and that could have made it real difficult to avoid getting the film dirty.

thx guys!!!

left it unused overnight (about 9 hours) no gps, no wifi, no bluetooth. Down from 100% to 77%.

that is not normal. mine drop 3-5% overnight with wifi on. 0-1% on airplane. most probably is something running in the background draining your battery.

regardless of what...the thing the battery life for the nexus 4 is really absymal.....i owned previously gnexus and nexus one......and the battery life of the nexus 4 is really incomparable to its 2 predecessor. the gnexus battery isn't a battery monster either but i didn't expect it to be so bad for the nexus 4.....

there's serious some sort of tuning needed for the battery....i've disabled all location based reporting, much of the sync, brightness at 20% and still the battery life is barely able to substain...this is the first phone i've used that its battery life decrement in 2% continuosly within a few minutes of screen-on but not doing anything....

i just wander what is wrong because my nexus 7 with 3G is a monster in battery life but my nexus 4 is real bad. i configured everything exactly the same and both have 3G data...

i might need more tuning and kernel testing before i can deduce the battery life of nexus 4 a failure..but so far, the first week of my nexus 4 usage...i am really dissappointed. :(

i dont know about others but i found that the battery depleted rapidly if i put brightness even a bit. that's why most of the time i turn the brightness to 0, only when outside i use power toggle to put it on auto. other than this, the battery is still okay with me.

Reviews seem to indicated that the battery is better than gnex though. Maybe it is the usage.

I'm currently testing my batt life as well. So far seems ok for normal usage, but yeah it does seem to die fast with continuous screen usage.

Any idea how much will cost on this device and where can get it?

You can ship it from the Google Play store yourself (plenty of posts about it around here), or you could buy it from local stores. Onephone is selling the 8GB at 510 and the 16GB at 610, and Mobyshop is selling the 16GB at 640. I think I saw a UK set lying around at one of the shops in Far East Plaza as well.
