Have to ship back, if not they won't refund him the money they deducted..

Yep. Someone messaged me and told me to contact comGateway to get a quote on the return of the product. I have emailed them and am waiting for their reply (email is the only method available from the website). I doubt it's any cheaper than SingPost. I'll keep you guys updated.

Anywhere in Sinkapore got sell Slimport adapter? Lazy to import from Amazon..
Slimport is branded and are costly to import.

Get other brands. If you don't mind waiting i'm importing afew next week and it cost $20 and $15 respectively. And Sim Lim Square sells them, just not SlimPort.

$20

I know how you feel bro, i also just repaired it yesterday. I thought everything was going smoothly until to the point where i hav to remove the back cover. Some of the "clips" just refused to unclip. Using a spudger is utterly useless, i even broke it trying to get the back cover off and sometimes i scream in pain coz the spudger scratched my fingers. Luckily, i only gt one or two slight scratches which is not very visible but the area around the power button is messed up, can see all the dents..

Anyway some bros messaged me and asked me what google asked me during the call.

They asked me if i have done any steps to try to redeem the device. I told them i formatted the phone, i turned on tracings, i changed chargers, everything software i have done already except rooting the phone. And done deal, all that's left is the hardware.

Um.. The Nexus 4 only supports Slimport, doesn't support MHL.. Alternative is Miracast but it's equally, if not more, expensive than Slimport.

I bought tons of usb chargers till today. I noticed that most usb chargers that claim that they do 2.1A and 1.0A concurrently are all bull****. It's much safer to buy a reputable ones that gives you some guarantees.

Just get a quality charger like the Innergie mMini AC 21. It costs $39.90 @ South Asia Funan, but it's a damn solid charger - dual 2.1A outputs, no bull****. (and oddly, it seems to be available only in Singapore/SEA? Epicentre Innergie PocketCell Portable Chargers, MMini AC21, DC 21, Duo USB Car Charging Kit, MMini DC10 AC15, Magic Cable PC SHOW 2013 Price List Brochure Flyer Image)

Well if it works for you its fine. However, the poster, weiyang76, had plenty of problems with other chargers. The Innergie one is something I can definitely recommend because you can't go wrong with it, price notwithstanding.

guys who post up chargers, do u actually have the item in hand and have actually used it? so many chargers out there and mostly false advertising.

and not only charger, usb cable also plays a part. i bought this 3m cable from challenger and instead of charging, the batt goes down. stats show that it is on AC. takes probably >7hrs to fully charge my n4.
i had two frens with s3. both had slow charging issues and using original cable. both of them assumed that their charging port was faulty. i lent them my cable and all is back to normal.

Well I do own the Innergie charger, and I tested the power output using a Watt meter, so I know for sure that it outputs 2.1A.

349 for 16GB, + $14 shipping = 457 SGD (based on Google's currency converter)
Not to mention shipping from US to SG + local taxes..

If I order from Taobao, 460, if I opt for air freight, 4-5 days can reach, around 15 dollars shipping. Total up to around 480. But I'm not sure if will incur taxes also. Most likely no.. I see how it goes first lor :o
