Hi, anyone here using local Nexus 4 losses their Data Connection often after upgrading to 4.4.2 (KitKat)?

I have this issue of losing connection (no H, no 3G, no G sign next to the signal bars), after upgrading to Android 4.4.2. Confirm no internet connection, only phone signal. It doesn't behave like this when I was on 4.3.

I can't resolve it by turning on and off Data Connection, or turning on and off Flight mode. Only solution is to restart my phone, but problem always come back after a day or two, and it is getting more and more irritating, not knowing that you lose Internet Connection only after you check your phone.

Tried Factory Reset, does not help.

Any help is appreciated.

IIRC Adix82 @ Burlington Square sells Nexus4 screen protectors. Prolly has cases as well but i'm not sure. I personally feel their services are good.

As for dbrand skins, just buy from their website. The last time i ordered, it took 2 weeks to reach. I have an extra piece of dbrand red leather skin for Nexus 4 if u wanna buy.

I think its 50++ at Lg service centre, based on what I remember from whats posted in this thread ages ago. Else send back to google, hopefully get a nexus 5 shipped instead

Is your phone rooted?
If not check out xda,
Basically Root phone with using pc adb commands and install custom recovery with touch interface. Then install rom that uses volume button to wake up, im using Purity rom, has the function. but rmb to unroot la if sending for official repairs

Only way is to try re-flashing the firmware via adb shell. If it still persist, u might have a hardware problem.

I had this problem a while back while running a 4.4.2 ROM on my LG G2. So I think it's a 4.4.2 problem rather than a device problem.

If it helps, I'm on SingTel, using 3G on Prepaid.

Quite pleased with Xtremeguard, they have the full body protection which i bought directly from their website. There is a reseller in HWZ marketplace, not sure he carried the protectors for N4.
