My estimate would be $650 include the shipping and gst. My card already charged me 580.62 just for the N5 onlu. Don't have the shipping and the gst one. So you can figure it out already how much does it cost after all.

Any screen protector? Casing i'm lookin at now kindly pm me.:)

I just ordered, so here are the steps.

1) Register at Forwarding service connecting overseas customers and Japanese online stores [ Tenso.com ]
2) Send over photocopy of your IC/driver's licence/passport front and back. They just want to know your name and address as Japan's laws dictate they have to do this.
3) Install VPN, I used OkayFreedom. https://www.okayfreedom.com/
4) Get a Japanese connection using OkayFreedom.
5) Go to https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_5_black_32gb and select your choices. I used Chrome's Incognito mode (Ctrl-Shift-n) so I can translate the website and avoid signing out of my real Google account)
6) When you click checkout you will be asked to register a new Google account. Register for it with the address provided by Tenso. (Guide here: Shopping on Japanese Websites)
7) Click buy and wait for the item to arrive at Tenso.

JP set. are they freaking shipping from SG?!

Nope...

If u have the confirmation shipping email, you would have recieved a tracking number like this:

http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/80851210-post1261.html

The tracking number would led to a page where it is shown that the phone is delivered from a warehouse in hk.

For the benefit of those new here, pls read through the thread for the steps for buying via JP playstore.
I just do my part and bumped for 1 time since I benefitted from it. the below post bumped for a few times liao.

Other than tenso, you can use Vpost Japan or there is another jshopper or something.

I used vPOST as a forwarder instead of tenso. Since i've already ordering stuff in the US before and i'm using the facility of vPOST. vPost provided you an address in JP that details ive put into billing and shipping address. I've used VPN to connect to GOGGLE JP playstore. Hope that it helps.! As simple as that.:)

thanks. i'm trying vPost now.

there's a section that state the auto-declaration, i just tick it for the gst declaration right?

if it's 650 then the charge is more or less the same as tenso one right.

If you guys haven't got your screen protectors, you might be interested in getting one from XtremeGuard. Currently they have an 80% promotion going on.

Coupon Code: SPOOK80 (80% discount limited to 15 pieces per order)

I went through their shipping options:

  • USPS International Shipping ($5.87)
  • USPS International Priority Shipping ($23.99) (6-10 Days)
  • USPS International Express Shipping ($43.99) (4-5 Days)

If you calculate, the total protection option comes up to $2.20 after discount (originally $10.99) excluding shipping. 15 pieces comes up to $32.97. With the USPS International Priority Shipping option, totals up to $56.96; about $3.80 or SGD 5 per person.

Try to check if their ebay store deal are better or not. I remembered that I got free shipping from their ebay store instead of direct.

I used their front and back protectors for my N4, no complains. Quite good and does not affect the screen sensitivity. Did not encountered peeling off as well as N4 one is wet application, not sure if the above are wet application also.

I have to say their customer service is superb, I bought 2 sets for spare as it was my first time applying wet screen protector. 1 set was delivered with defect, emailed them and no questions asked, straightaway send me replacement.

No Prob.:) glad to help. Yes, if you will notice on your account on vPOST tick the auto declaration part on your vPOST account. After that proceed the ordering process on the JP playstore. Let me know if you need further help okay. Takes 24-48 hours it reflects the status of your order. Be patience okay everything will be okay. Once the item reach the vPOST address then that's the time i will know how much the payment for the gst and the delivery for the said item. Goodluck!!
