wah serious boh...Guys, Those that bought must go and change alr.....
Hi, thanks for the advice. I went to play store, under "My orders" the status is Pre-ordered. Is this correct? I did not receive any email though. Should I cancel and order again? Can those who have received their Nexus 5 advice what is the normal sequence of events? Like once you ordered you should receive an email or something.
Thanks alot.
I'm not too sure about RMA procedure but i think should be something like this, correct me if i'm wrong coz i also need to know:
Warranty wise you have to contact Google JP for RMA, no local warranty.
Then from there Google JP will inform you what address to ship to. Maybe you can ask for a local address to ship to (not sure if this will work)
After that Google JP will ship back another N5 (also not sure if you can request to ship direct to SG)
for my case , its diferent from setting up in iphone.Did anyone have the problem syncing with exchange server? my office email account keep saying cannot connect
Yeap that's correct. It will be pre-ordered until Google processes your payment and ships out your phone. That is when you will receive an email stating that your item has shipped.
I can't properly advise you on the sequence of events as I had some issues with my order, but here it is anyway:
1) Place order
2) Google emailed me about payment problems, so I changed the payment details.
3) Wait and wait and wait
4) Google emails me that my item has shipped.
5) Wait for Tenso to receive it. Once received, Tenso will email you.
6) Pay Tenso and wait for email that they have shipped it out to Singapore.
7) Wait somemore till it arrives at your doorstep.
I guess u are right. Just called LG Singapore and they mentioned that there is no International Warranty Coverage as most phones will not have. Even after N5 release in SG, still no local warranty coverage as the phone is bought from Japan but will have service repairs which need to check with them for compability and is chargeable.
That is the risk to take I guess if buy from Japan.
Now what's left is if the phone need to be sent back for RMA, how is the process going to be like?
Anybody who knows can advice on this please?
Just curious, am i the only here who signed up for $7 per month BBoM plan with 30GB data cap, and still get LTE?
Each month i only manage to use 3-4 GB...
just flashed franco-r10 kernel..the colors look more vivid and have better contrast...![]()

It is still too early to tell the rma process. But I guess you will have to ship back to japan after you receive your replacement phone from them. This assumption is based on how the Nexus 4 US set is rma which you can find it in nexus 4 thread.
you can see your monthly data limit from the mysingtel app...go download that and login to your singtel account.

So I guess I just have to wait right?
The other thing I noticed is that I ordered 32GB black which is stated as "leaves warehouse on 15th November" so if they will only email me when the item is shipped then I can only expect the email after 15th November right?
Hey guys just an update , only have 4 sets left . Please let me know ASAP if you want it . Long wait thoughHey guys if you're willing to wait and want the LTE compatible variant, I have 2 sets of 32gb black ,1 set 32gb white, 2 sets of 16gb black, 1 set of 16gb white still up for order. They're due to arrive on 22 December (just in time for Xmas) or earlier .
It's $570 for the 16gb set and $630 for the 32gb set.
They're from Australia.
Drop me a PM if interested .
