reporting here, new owner USA model. but i am on prepaid only on a 3G Singtel sim.

i placed LTE as the data mode, just for trying it.

once i turned on data, only 3G or momentarily, H appears.

so basically, i can never LTE because this is a USA unit plus my prepaid sim only 3G.


when on 2G, G appears and works ok as well.

btw, i only use 2G even on this LTE age. its enough for my use. and i believe it saves battery as well.

u guys worry too much....it's almost like....'i walked too much, will my legs break if i walked more than 2 hours per day?'...

get a grip guys, buttons are meant to be pressed just as legs are meant to be walked....just saying. :D

hahahah u old liao leg also gone.. wear and tear mah...

but agree that we think too much at time... just use it and see how lor hahahah... and nowadays we change phone every 1 year plus or so... hahaha

like that your keyboards must also protect liao right if press too much will spoil :s22::s22:

The buttons should be ok as long as the membrane is strong enough

Hopefully the power button on the N5 is better built than that on the N4 which was prone to failure. I had to replace my 1 year old N4 button at LG a few days ago.

N5 button feels better, hopefully works better also :s12::s12:

Anyone knows of free app that able to switch to airplane mode and back based on time? Previously using timeriffic but even that needed a software patch cos android locked airplane mode access since 4.2... But that patch doesn't work now on 4.4
