Pump up the specs like what? Upgrade the processor to Quad Core? I find Dual Core is sufficient and most apps are not even utilizing the Dual Core at the moment.

dualcore is alrwdu not bad liao
u want quad or x8 core plus most of our phone battery tech still fall behind mobile tech to
tats why can't catch up

What specs are you looking for? Maybe you need to wait for MWC before asking.

Still remember when Rachael was announced, many online speculations and even gsmarena stated it would be out on February, and we all eagerly waited and posted here, until March overseas people started having it, we could only drool over it via unboxing videos in youtube.

We even hoped that good ol' Sony Ericsson would be nice enough to launch it at our March Comex shows. Lol. But of course, nada.

After weeks of harrassment calls to Sony Ericsson hotline, Rachael finally arrived into our shores.

The year after, we all expected that this would happen to arc, and yes it did. Only difference was, at least it was available for pre-order when you put a deposit of $100 at the Sony Ericcson booth at the March Comex show.

It arrived somewhere end of March, but well, it's still around that period.

'twould be nice to see it available this month, but chances are slimmer that Slim Shady. =X

It is still early to say, since SE have changed to Sony then there must be some changes to its management.

I would not be looking at track record for release of product. Some people hold many grudges for X10 & condemned SE while some people love their arc & hold high regards for SE.
Anyone can played up different versions of history depending on their preference.

It always happen to some retailers looking to steal the limelight to announce something unofficial & end up making the bad news for the company.
GSMarena is well-known to make errors in its reports & specs for phone. Its last attempt to report delayed of xs only reminds us of its half-baked reporting style.

I am not really too eager to see xs since it is just another flavor of gingerbread & im using arc s now. Unless Sony decides to release xs with built-in ICS then it will be a wow factor.
And there are leaks of higher-priced sony phones which might be worth the wait.

My guess is that sony still wants to market xs during mwc alongside other new sony phones for maximum exposure before it is released globally. So we can look at Mar dates & after.

Internal Phone Storage - Up to 1.8 GB (Used to be 1 to 1.5 GB)
Photo flash - pulsed LED

What do you think about the battery life. The battery like quite small leh. I scared the battery life cmi.

i pre3fer the ram not the storage
to be more than 1gb
so can run more appls
since XS is now builtin storage like iphone

Battery life should be good with android 2.3 as we see with SE optimisation on 2011 xperias. But it remains to be seen if the battery life with android 4.0 will be better or on par.

Apps like browsers are eating more memory & killing background apps to free ram also eats more juice.

Xperia NX launching in Feb

NTT DoCoMo has updated its product page for the Sony Xperia NX (Japan’s version of the Xperia S) with some release dates. NTT DoCoMo will start to take pre-orders of the Xperia NX (SO-02D) from 10 February 2012, before it is formally launched in shops across Japan on 24 February 2012. We couldn’t find any pricing information, although more details are likely next week when pre-orders open.
