anyone rooted with franco kernel? got diff ma? can feedback a bit THX!

I'm actually tempted to try..Though I'm a heavy Android Pay user, rooting and unlocking boot is.. something that will cripple my use of it.

use magisk then it wouldn't touch AP la...

I on exkernel and it did help to improve overall...Franco haven't try...

Aware of Magisk. Have to see how it goes first Stock Kernel is doing quite well so far. Plus, I've to keep it as stock as possible until Note 8. My friends and my Samsung Connection pals would love to put things into some test together
Franco has more aggressive power savings compared to all kernels for sure.

3/3T will stop upgrade after O so 5 will stop after P? Do note 3T is only 9 months old. OP doesn't have a good track record for keeping upgrades to their older phones. But what's lucky is there is there are always 3rd party ROM out there due to its popularity so OP can get away with it.

And even then, that's assuming OnePlus sticks to their promise.....

Loved the OnePlus Sandstone case but does not have full protection especially on the top & bottom

Was considering getting a clear case like Ringke Fusion or Spigen Ultra Hybrid

Samsung internet browser beta is on Google play store as well, quite smooth and fast compared to Google chrome, you guys can go try it! During my short stay with the s8+, Samsung browser is actually quite good, imo.

Custom kernel need to use custom recovery. If you are new to this and want to try look up flashing TWRP in xda developer for OP5. Once you get the basics then Franco Kernel

Also interested in the bumper. But I think adding width cannot be avoided as with most other bumpers. Actual product not out yet. No reviews available. Checked out their s8 bumper, looks slimmer than the op3's. Hopefully op5 version is slimmer
