YSL L'Homme was quite generic when I tried it on the paper stick. Its supposed to have Ginger and Spices among other notes but I didn't get anything special from it. Just another 'nice' fragrance. However, I will do a three spray test on skin and clothes for a full wearing before I decide if it is bottle worthy to me or not.
YSL La Nuit De L'Homme also has quite a following and I get the barbershop feel, quite powdery from it. Again, a full wearing is on the cards before deciding to buy or not.

L'homme quite generic. not offensive or repulsive. smells sweet. i like to use it as after gym or after training scent. feels good.

La Nuit. nice scent overall. not very versatile. mainly night or cooler climate scent. you will not get away wearing this when its scorching hot. not just its quite repulsive. you'll also suffocate everyone around you.

encre noire. i will only wear this when im meeting the president or any high caliber people. or maybe in a suit and tie event. this scent exudes power. "Im the Boss mutherf*ckers"

thanks for your input guys.

i'm actually also looking at l'homme libre. can't decide which one between this and l'homme. smell wise if i'm not wrong this is more refreshing right?

looks like this:

My hoot today:

L-R: Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Summer 2013, Sean John Unforgivable 15ml, Tom Ford Black Orchid (Controversial 'Unisex' frag)

Le Male Summer is apparently just a lighter version of orginal Le Male. Its for days when I don't want to nuke out with a full strength Le Male.
Unforgivable was only $15 for the 15ml so I bought it to compare with my Ed Hardy Love and Luck. It is apparently a very similar scent to Creed Millesime Imperial.
Tom Ford Black Orchid had such rave reviews, as well as hate, that I just had to buy it to see what the fuss was all about. It is marketed as a woman's frag, but many say it is unisex and some can't see it being anything but a men's frag. I believe that there are no gender specific fragrances, if you like it and wearing it makes you happy then go for it.
