I paid someone to fix a F-14 model kit & paint it before. Damage abt $300 i think. Too lazy fix & spray.
NPNT. What does $300 painted F14 model kit look like?

What change for the better was the internet; so many resources online. I wont term it as cheapo; when we were young, how many got rich parents to splurge on resource books. Its a long journey; its the process that build the person
Got peepur actually buy those? I only look at the wrapped up books on the shelves. Best was White Dwarf since they weren't wrapped up back then.

Ish it leeally true dat peepur prefer more parts? HG ish thr best ratio of parts to complexity. Those super complex kits might have limited building appeal to the average buyer. Buy one liao cannot build finish so unlikely to buy another.

I recommend PG strike Gundam, very old kit but the strike can squat in PangSai position. This is my test for good articulation and design in a kit.

Have you tried the 30mf kits? Cheap, easy to build and the base figure can pass even pangsai cross legged.
