Hmm...could it be an error in printing? Because even silverstone official site did not state this model as 80Plus certified. I remember that one of the brand had the 80Plus logo on its webpage but it was not listed in the 80Plus website as well.

The 80Plus website always update quite regularly, one good example was the thermaltake case as next day all the models were listed.

cant be ma.. even the new batch of DA1200 which is specially ordered from taiwan to sg have the logo as well.. Maybe they didnt update the website?
Theres a graph showing the efficiency on 20%, 50% and 100% load.. All above 80% efficiency..

I think best is to take the reference from the 80Plus official website. Here is the error made by the other brand.

hi guys, may i know how to find out the total current through the 12V rails? can i just divide the wattage output by 12V? this is important so i know if i have enough voltage for my gfx right..

No, you can't do that. The total wattage includes 12V, 5V and 3.3V.

To determine the current through 12V, look at the sticker on the PSU, it will have all the rated current there. Or look for the product's webpage.

Normally it will be stated on the psu itself for combined 12V.

A 500W PSU would do, both the Enhance ENP5150GH and Silverstone Element Plus are good performance for its price range. If you want to have some upgrade options later on, you can also consider the Acbel R8 Power 607 with some topup.

If it is 4 rails most likely is for each rail as I have not come across any psu with 4 12V combined at 18A.

Yes a good quality 500W would be enough, try to get the GO version of the Q6600 or you can wait for Intel CPUs releasing in Q1 next year that has even lower power consumption.

Depending on how high you want to overclock your CPU to, a 3rd party cooler will give you more room for overclocking. Thermalright HS is one of the better brand that performs rather well.
