By the way, anyone actually won the lucky draw before? lol keep seeing those pop up.

Hi guys, sorry have been sick badly yesterday cannot give an update. Samsung SGis checking on their end. The flip has been switched for the roll out of OTA and on their end it is indicated as open but it does not seem to be moving. Will update as soon as they get back to me with an update for the roll out.

For people flashing or plan to flash XSA, I'm suggesting against it as AUS has a very different modem setting as compared to our locally tailored one. So along with losing Samsung Pay, it will lose proper radio compatibility. Your VOLTE may or may not work

You will be lacking Cat 9 or Tri band 900, 1800 & 2600 Mhz so those on Singtel are not able to use those speeds. HSPA+ is absent on XSA FWs so you will drop straight to 3G if you cannot get 4G.

SG:
4G+ LTE Cat 9 (up to 450Mbps)
4G+ LTE FDD
[Band 1 (2100MHz)/ Band 2 (1900MHz)/ Band 3 (1800MHz)/ Band 4 (AWS)/ Band 5 (850MHz)/ Band 7 (2600MHz)/ Band 8 (900MHz)/ Band 12 (700MHz)/ Band 17 (700MHz)/ Band 18 (800MHz)/ Band 19 (800MHz)/ Band 26 (800MHz)/ Band 28 (700MHz)/

AUS:
4G FDD LTE
B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700), B18(800), B19(800), B26(800), B28(700)

UPDATE: I'm told to check around an hours time

Smart switch?

Afaik whatsapp you can backup including media via cloud (google drive). Telegram is already cloud based just like fb messenger. So your messages and media will still show once you relogin (unless you set the destruction timer thing for media). WeChat.. no idea. 😀

Smart switch is very basic back up like photo and contacts. App like WeChat not back up at all.

I wonder got any good app, just one click backup all the apps instead of going to explorer to pull out the files one by one especially my whatsapp which is like 15gb big!!! Lol!! I tried to copy and paste into my desktop and it hanged usually after 2 hours
