Just check my Neighbourhood spec shop.

Zeiss lens for short sighted + reading glass with 700deg @ 1.67 = $1350??

So expensive ?

Where to make zeiss lens cheaper? :(
Your astigmatism very high?
Get crizal or even non branded len if you want to save cost. Request for discount, normally they will knock at least 10% off rrp

Hey bro! Crizal is just the coating of the lens. The brand is actually varilux/essilor. Non branded lens got difference also in terms of reading area and peripheral distortion.. so kinda depends on what he needs. Apart from zeiss can also consider Hoya lenses.

Aside, such progressive lenses cover up Til -4 to -600 astig iirc, need to check again. Should be to reduce the thickness of 700 degrees of your lenses probably.

Thanks for correcting me. Only know "crizal" is comparatively cheaper to other brands.

Wanna check with the pros here.

I have a pair of spectacles but the frame don't have those "nose holder" kind. Then when i wear, it will always slide down a little. Its actually a Ray Ban frame. Got such thing as those stick on nose holder can stick on the frame? :s11:

Because my degree still the same so don't need to waste money get another frame or make a new set.

Hi experts, I'm just a student w limited budget. I have made my specs all cheaply <$150. Even now in uni im still using my army specs.

All the nice specs people wearing in uni make me gian to upgrade.

I dont need famous brands, just a sturdy fashionable frame and affordable.

Any recommendations? Dont mind online or going down shops to try.

thanks in advance !!

Wayfarer style? Or those really thin ones? If thick frame can consider fixing permanent nose pads. Meaning like other frames with the metal nose pad.

Not really. As Long as you don't mind the brand, there should be a big range for you..

【艾尚标致店】,点击链接再选择浏览器打开

http://c.b1wt.com/h.4sBC1E?cv=gm6UZHDQRiR&sm=825d87

search around the store.

order 2 in case the frame breaks.

bring it to JB to make your lenses.

I haven't order from this shop.

I ordered this and another 2 from the shop, to see which is suitable for me

http://c.b1wt.com/h.VOJRpH?cv=6sl6MohYrP&sm=bd4568

it's less than 10 bucks.

order and ship through ezbuy.

order 1 extra once you had fitted the lense, in case it breaks.

Nope. The thinner ones. I perspire alot so it will always slide down a little + i work at hot environment, doesn't make it any better. I google search, got those silicon pad can stick, does it really help? If really no use, maybe i make another set. From what i check with my friends, they say my frame thin, not possible to drill those nose pegs.

Ah, if it's those thin one then prolly not. Ever paste on pad not a Long term solution as will drop off quite frequently. Tried any adjustment to your glasses too?

What's the price of an Oliver Peoples plastic frame? Found a shop, about 400+.

Damn.

Checked with a spectacle shop at my neighbourhood, she said the only solution I have is to get those stick on pads or get a band at the back. Because mine is thin plastic, those spectacle hooks won't help as well.
