Actually previously I only bought my frame + lens at 100. Probably the lens aren't that good.

I'm not someone who take good care of the lens. I use my shirt to wipe and always wash it with body soap during shower haha.

I'll look at owndays. Are there any budget lens for me to consider?

Yeah, I didn't know the difference in lens previously, maybe that's why is cheap.

I'm not a fan of the yellow-ish lens so I just got Owndays basic lens. Thanks Decorum and Gangster boss for advice!

Went Shinagawa for an eye check last month. The price of $138 is first time one off only. After the normal test. The eye will be dilated with eye drop for the specialist doctor examine.

Used to go JB for them, using hoya.
tried owndays, normal progressive - fail..
lenskart, was introduce their $250 and $500 range. price exclude frame

Too many pages, abit lazy to scroll through, but i'll appreciate if anyone can help me out.

Previously i bought a prescription glasses online, but i gave the measurements wrongly (astig's cylinder axis got mixed up in the wrong side...), so the lens are now effectively useless, wear already will get super dizzy. Any recommendations for shops to get my new lens separately, and get the shop to help me insert the lens to my frame. How much would it cost as well. Probably just need those anti blue ray / anti reflective lens kind.
My power is around -3.75 to -4.25 (previously recorded) and my astig is around -0.75 (previously recorded).

Otherwise, any recommendations of shop for frame+lens? I don't really see alot of good reviews about shops like Ownsday lol.

Forgot to mention that my budget isn't very high. The maximum i'll go for is $200, and hoping to get one around $100-150 range.

What's the difference between digital vs progressive? Thanks!

Both lenses helps to ease the wearers when they are reading/using digital devices.
Digital has a “boost”/addition power up to +1.32. Thus if the individual has laohua/presbyopia of +1.50 and above, they have to use progressive. This boost is at the lower segment of the lenses, the top segment is for you to see far/distance.
So for early presbyopes/teens/young adults, they can use digital lenses however once we hit the big 4 and about 45 above, usually progressives are recommended instead of digital lenses.

100-150 abit hard but maybe able to find at owndays/lenskart. Or one user managed to purchase frame and lenses from new China opticians I believe at a cheap price too…. But… you have to scroll up to find his post. Quite recent haha

Whoa RIP me then. Thought i saw somewhere that Essilor Crizal Prevencia lenses starts from like $100~.

My previous glasses is from China optician as well. Cheap and lasted me for more than 4 years already. Bought on 11-11-2017 and came with frame and lens as well. Only costed me RM129 for a supposedly 1.56 index lens and blue light filter.

When i ordered a second one on 11-11-2019, i accidentally gave the wrong prescription, so RIP my $$$ lol. Costed me RMB286 for a 1.67 index lens with blue light filter.

But given that my prescription changed quite abit, I can't really go for the China Opticians anymore. Normal neighbourhood optician shops always don't want to give me my full prescription lol. Only tell me the power, never tell me the axis and the distance between my left and right iris.

no idea, yet to purchase.

I'm also searching for a cheaper alternative.

Lenskart is a 1 for 1 though.
The frame is $148 for 2.
Progressive is 250 or 500.

so if i were to pick the better progressive lens from japan, its around 648 for 2 pair.

Sorry for the delayed response. I believe it’s Hoya sensity(photochromatic) , 1.67 index with full control(antiblue and antibacterial).
In general, it is a good lens with good multi coat.
