Anyplace to recommend to make specs ? Prefer in east .
need progressive and transition lens .
no owndays. Currently using , Short while cui alr

The shamir lense really garbage.

Wiped with the same microfiber cloth.
One side at the inner side now full of scratches.

All on the inner side. Is the coating both sides or inner side?

Used exactly a year.

And it's not even scratches. Scratches would be in straight lines. It's in lines of spots. Obviously coating came off for some reason.

Should have bought hoya.
Someone recommended nulux and hilux duno what difference.

It seems like you need to buy a new specs and literally "converts" it to a prescribed sunglasses? Based on my experience using a brand new RB frame and prescribed lens, it was around 600+ or more (sorry I couldn't remember).

Hi, getting prescriptions done directly by RayBan tends to be pricier, especially if you want the RayBan label on the lens. I opted to have mine done at my optical shop in Katong SC. I chose Hoya lenses with mirror coating, and mine are progressive lenses. Hope it helps. Thanks.

For Zeiss progressive lenses, how important is it to have measurements done via the Zeiss VISUFIT 1000 system (the standing platform with 9 cameras in semi-circle)?

I am guessing the most important factor is likely the skill and expertise of the practitioner. Just wondering if there is strong additional benefit provided with the VISUFIT 1000. And if precise measurements are equally possible without the VISUFIT 1000 by an experienced practitioner.

Also, do other lens brands have similar specialized platform for measuring?

Hi all, I'm interested in digital lenses.
May I know what are the price ranges for the Zeiss, Hoya digital lenses with blue light coating?

My degree is around 200 with astigmatism coming to 40 years old.

Hi all, am looking to replace my current glasses.

Current pair is from zoff, cheap and lens is super scratched up now after 3 years+. I find that my eyes are v tired after looking at computers the whole day, not sure if it’s due to me not resting my eyes or the glasses?

Looking to upgrade to better frame + lens. I look at computers all day for work and drive frequently. Don’t mind trying transition lens but that is not a priority. Age is 30, don’t know my current degree as it has been awhile since I’ve taken an eye test, but relatively lower <300 degrees in both eyes. Budget is within 1k if possible

Yours condition is similar to mine. Just go jb make Hoya lens. Frame wise tbh it's really subjective, best to go try out

I did several specs at vision ease
At Ubi industrial place
lens from Japan and wholesaler for frames
Price is reasonable

Actually I wanted to try owndays or lensart

Any review on their lens n frames?

For branded progressive lens , we are paying the premium for the coating Or lens (plastic) quality ?
Can I say 50:50?
