Things look yellowish but glare is reduced. V good for our lufestyle cos we stare at pc/fone/play games/surf net/watch tv for over 12hrs a day. So its highly recommended. Only thing is the purple reflection is alot. Essilor put in so much R&D into it dont think its lousy la. Protects UV and harmful blue light. What more to ask for? Coating wise so far so good didnt cui. Unlike zeiss cui damn fast. Personally v disapoointed in zeiss.

My new specs kinda like what you described, this pair is made in china, I leave my specs prescription and they are done within a day send it out.

omg the yellow is quite obvious..... but i dont think the lens supposed to be yellow though..... its supposed to have a purple/blue-ish coating.... not the whole lens yellow like that..... but yes things will look a bit more yellowish

Dear all,

Is it worth it to get Crizal Prevencia lens and does anyone knows how much the 1.67 and 1.74 cost? What's the price difference?

Anyone can recommend a good optician for making progressive lens? My 2nd progressive lens is really bad and the optician was inexperience. Thanks

I do use lots of computer. But I'm worried to get it as I heard there's a slight yellow tint, which I dun think I'm comfortable with.

Go to shop and look through the prevencia sample lens, can put it in front of your eyes and see if you like it.

First few days you wear may notice it. After a few days, the yellow tint is not really noticeable if you are used to it. Colors you see on LCD screen is a little different if wearing prevencia, it is like you adjusted your screen to a darker tone.

1. If adjust spectacles (adjust the ear wire part/nose part to fit head nicely) at any spectacle shop that you did not buy the spectacle from, how much does it cost?

2. Is there a place that can check if the spectacle is made correctly? I mean if lets say my spectacle is bought at online or shop A, I want to double confirm if shop A has made the spectacle correctly (I know the degree, PD), is there any shop that can do it? How much?

Thanks.

Does anyone know where got stock Morell/Nomad frames? Lens Men jem only have orange model and they don't plan to restock other colors.

Something like this.

Also considering just buying online... Does anyone know a place that gives lower prices for lens? Most likely going for basic transitions from crizal/hoya/etc.

1.) Most shop does it for free. But if they accidently break your frame, they will not be held responsible.

2.) Again, I'm sure most shop does it free as well. Do note that astigmatism axis might be out within 1 - 3.

Yes there will be slight yellowish tint. If you're a designer or someone who needs to differentiate different hues of a color, I would advice not to get the Pc lens as colour interpretation might be affected.
