one year international waranty :)

just wondering, if any guys actually have bought such brands like oakley, tag, from overseas(our friendly neighbours included) and then send for servicing/repair locally? Do they accept?

Usually, I tink the JB shop will ask u to bring it back to them if theres any problems.

Lenses coating are hard to peel, unless you use direct soap to wash the lens eg: i got px who use hand wash soap to wash their spec. (there to much chemical in soap which destroy lens coating) Just remember washing of spec just use normal water if really so oily use lens spray to clean the lens. Second are hair spray which also one of the killer for lens as hair spray got chemical which cost lens coating to peel or even stain too!
how about high index lens and clarity? some say lower grade polycarbornate lens are a bit yellow

Best high index clarity lens will always be glass lens, sorry so fast i never come by any polycarbonate lens which is yellowish went we first prescript the lenses. Unless is (Nikon) lens. Usually lens will turn yellow about 1-2 year time as it absorb the UV.

So far in ophthalmic lenses highest index = Tokai 1.76 index (world’s first thinnest lens)

nice!....how much & where did u purchase it?

Thanks dude. Cost me 945 f**king bucks! Kwong Shin, Bras Basah. Mainly becoz of the 1.70 lens. $315. Want to stretch my budget, because to me, for this frame, the lens has to be as thin as possible to fully highlight the "floating lens" effect.

yup.this kind of frame really no choice, gotta make thin lens.if not,i tink will end up spoiling the whole look...the frame really unique & nice but its out of my budget...congrats on ur new purchase though

anyway, not sure if its right to ask about contact lens here...is there an explanation y when i wear contacts,it always has a tendency to drop out?

You may ask your optometrist to check your base curve of your corner. Usually is the B.C which does not fit your corner.

Dry eyes may also affect the lens to drop. Especially if you are use to rubbing your eyes. If you use a lot of eye drops i would recommend SYSTANE® Lubricant Eye Drops.

am i there when you visit??
