It depends.
Eye fatigue can be due to several causes. If the causes of fatigue is not known and simply wearing an "anti fatigue lens" (another fancy term for a lens from Essilor) just because your eyes feel tired will not help.
It seems like Essilor has done a wonderful job in their marketing (they have a huge budget) because there seems to be a lot of consumer awareness of their products. what with crizal lens , which many people thought are scratch proof when in fact it's just scratch resistant and anti fatigue lens, which people think will really cure their eye fatigue if they just wear one without knowing what is the cause of the fatigue.
as far as the professionals are concern, essilor is not the market leader in ophthalmic lens technology but they do a wonderful job to make consumers think they are.![]()
Just to check with you, I used to stare at computer for long hours. And already old so currently got old flower eye, according to what I know, computer lens just help to protect eye from radiation only & does not really help on the increase of eye sight degree & etc.
I checked with an optician at one of the shops & he told me wearing a anti-fatigue will better for those always using computer as it help to maintain the degree of your eye & also will make your eye not so tired. He mentioned that a customer brought another pair when he felt the result is excellent which he changed to from a computer lens to this.
The price of it is expensive but looking at the long run, is it better to change to this ?
