The middle one, as the pic suggests, is Less Than Human. Donno how much. The third one looks like Factory 900.

Obviously, people who like these wouldn't care if the frames are stable. But if Factory 900, the frames are stable. Tried a few models before in the shop ...

Can recommend me shops that offer affordable and wide range spectacles for students?

Might be making a few spectacles.

Rimless, Half rim, transition, photochromic and different colours.

Also can recommend frame that is durable? My frames tend to be slanted after some time. Perhaps due to my physical abuse. Drops and sports. Swissflex?

Recently, saw a selection of Superdry frames at Optical 88 Tampines Mall. Very nice. I first saw them about a month ago at my usual optician's, quite like them.

Evisu is another that you may want to check out. Style and branding wise, you decide.

Particularly like the second one from the top :

None. Just leave it as it is, looks seasoned. Specs are supposed to be this way, getting peeled off overtime. Anyway thats how the optical trade earns $. Selling you expensive specs but ended up most of the time you dont really use it till it breaks. You will change it when colour chips off becos most people will bother them to be wearing a off-coloured spec. Which is why most people, if they can afford it, will change spec every year. So sometimes i think whats the point of getting too expensive pair of spec when it cant last you a lifetime of usage.

Would appreciate if anyone can share with me the price indication for Hoya (with SFT coating), Nikon and Zeiss 1.67 Asp progressive lens with the following prescription? What would be the top up for transition or photofusion?

R: -3.25, -3.25, 180
L: -4.25, -3.75, 170
ADD: +1.50

Thanks!

i think its a matter of time before paint drops off.

Need to check with you something. U know the plastic earsocks that they use to cover the temple tip? DO they get scratched easily? My Dun plastic temple tip is alreay scratched but the rest of the metal part still remains unscathed & shining .:s11: And do water seep inside those plastic covers?

Been using a photofusion 1.5 lens for the past few days, seem clear / brighter than my 1.6 Crizal Airwear Transitions. Though the lens is thicker and more fragile.
