Yesterday when I jogging. I saw workers start laying tiles at balcony and install cabinets at block 200 & 198 already. If not mistaken.

Went to showroom to do some measurement today. Heard from agent the showroom is not due to close yet. Will extend another 6 months they said. And saw a young couple confirmed a unit too. So lovely

Hi everyone, Im happy to have bought a unit at visionaire 2 weeks ago.:s12::s12:

we went to see many ec showflats with available units and visited the various projects actual sites many times before deciding on Visionaire. Over the course of around 2weeks, we explored criterion, signature@yishun, parc life, brownstone, northwave etc

Chose VS for a few reasons

- exclusive private residential enclave. VS n BS are the only 2 sites that have this exclusivity feel. The rest of the other projects are mostly surrounded by hdbs and or industrial buildings. Afterall, buy ec for family to enjoy a better quality of life and living environment.

- mrt n mall location. Again, VS n BS are the only 2 that really is within walking distance to station/canberra plaza. a comparable project is parc life. however, i would very much prefer 400m straight line stroll (for VS) along park connector than the 700/800m cutting through hdb blocks and busy roads for PL.

- in terms of facilities, i tot PL's and VS's are superior. i hope that VS's 250m stretch of facilities would turn out to be truly impressive. btw, anyone knows when will the sports hub across the road be ready? They only start building in 2019/20 rite?

At first, we had reservations on the pricing. cos criterion, signature, northwave n PL are all averaging 760-780psf now. then VS n BS are at 830psf. then my friend say comparatively, the price i paid is on the high side.

although we are paying slightly more now, i think that the potential value of VS n BS is in fact higher than others. URA would probably release the 3 plot of land beside canberra plaza and mrt progressively nearing the completion of the station. if north park resi above yishun mrt is doing 1350-1400psf now, Pte condo at canberra mrt 1 station away probably ard 1150-1200psf. Then give another 15% discount for VS being a EC we should be able to do 1000psf. :D

Welcome and congrats :)

All your reasons are shared by most of us ..

When you think about it, there must be something special about those developments that are selling out (close to 100%). Just look at Hundred Palms. Buyers will not care that it's not perfect, as long as the desired factors are met.

Look at those that are still struggling to sell out. I particularly enjoy seeing how PL buyers justify why they chose it over Visionaire because their reasons are very different from ours. But in the end, the numbers speak for themselves.

The sports hub is taking a really long time to even get started, and it's likely to be due to the expiry of the lease by the international school. Just hope that the construction does not affect residents too much.

Mee too! The upcoming Canberra MRT and mall sold me! I have been living near MRT all my life and I know the importance of having one near you. It goes a long way from commuting to work everyday or even if you plan to sell ur unit one day.One of the best selling point you can ride on.I was quite skeptical of looking into EC's in the north until I found VS.Its greenary surroundings, peace & tranquil which is nicely tuck away from the hustle & bustle of any other busy neighbourhood. But when you compare with the other EC's within the vicinity, VS is on a high side but of course my ultimate choice be convenience and accessibility since this is going to be the biggest commitment for us.

The Visionaire has sold many units in the past 2 months....now the remaining units is the same as The Brownstone at 13!

Indeed proximity to N12 is the overriding factor for the more than 100 sales closed.

All else does not weigh much.

Gongxi.....gongxi...

No choice to opt in? Is it because those just bought recently. The unit already installed with smart devices at site already?
I tot when you sign OTP. they will explain to you ?
Hopefully someone can share you what they knew about this package.

Paying subscription fees for smart home features are probably what has turned some potential buyers away or made them opt out. I believe the basic features are FOC, such as the electronic door lock.

However, I suspect features such as remote access like those seen in the advertisement might require subscription fees.

It's hard to say now because other than the deal signed with Samsung, it's difficult to be sure what we are actually getting. I don't like not knowing anything, but what can we do .. When we opt in, we are at their mercy :(

Yes me too. I dislike the feeling of not knowing anything and dunno what we will get. Sigh. Wat can do. "It's like that"

Yup! We bought our unit last july thus too late to opt out. Actually we are not keen on smart features as in the long run technology always changes and requires maintenance which equates to cost. But currently I really don't know what are we getting. No offence to those who are keen on smart features, just my two cents worth😁

Nvm. Since opt in already. Looking at the good side. You can monitor your home when u are away. Turn on aircond before you reach home. Open the door remotely!

I think if there is any subscription fee, it should only be applied to those who use the smart home device app. If u opted in but don't use, u probably won't need to pay the subscription fee (if any). So if u opt in, at least u have the infrastructure to choose whether u want or do not want to use. If u opt out, no matter what u can't use the smart home features but u can probably do ur own installation if u change ur mind next time. To each their own :)
