quartz watches: battery die = watch stop working.

automatic watches: stop wearing on wrist = watch will stop running after it's stored energy in it mainspring is depleted.

quartz watches are more accurate and keep better time than automatic/mechanical watches.

but people love automatic watches for their engineering, never needing a battery change & a sweeping seconds hand compared to a ticking quartz seconds hand. (some hybrid/quartz watches like grand Seiko spring drive & bulova accutron precisionist have a very smooth sweeping seconds hand)

some mechanicals can be more accurate than quartz
and high accuracy quartz are much more accurate than quartz and most mechanicals
watches with GPS on demand real time accuracy brings a new dimension to watches

All in my brain only think "oh damn, my original strap!"

But finally look nice on her wrist

Eh... A regular leather hole puncher (smallest hole) will do the trick.
