Base model could mean the entry level model?

"Luminor" on the dial - base models, and they have only the minute and hour hands e.g. 000 and 112.

"Luminor Marina" on the dial - Comes with second hands e.g. 005 and 111.

Here's my 312, which is on a Luminor Marina 1950 casing... Hehe.

Yup. Base model is supposed to an entry-level Pam. It's the most basic model with no extras like see-through caseback, power reserve indicator, etc. It also means it's the cheapest in range. Always a plus point. Lol!!

Lovely! I was fondling a 392 previously at Brightime previously

Must go AD & fondle them first. See which one turns you on more. I was also contemplating between the Pelagos & Black Bay till I itchy and look over at the Pams. I've never researched on them. Was not even on my shortlist of watches to buy, but cut long story short. I bought the Pam. But I'm still hunting for a Pelagos though..
