My colleague was telling me that since ETA movement price and in house doesn't differ a lot, might as well get the In house movements.

Will consider, they don't have black.

Orca looks better with 1.5mm thickness.

gotta be mindful of the thickness, if too thick, hard to squeeze between the space of the case and the spring bar

Just recently got this Pam 631. New base model.

Hello all!

Recently I'm starting to look into watches and boy, it's one hell of a poisonous hobby! :s13:

Currently I have a Seiko SRP772K1 as my first automatic dress watch.

But im looking to get a Panerai soon and hope to seek some bros comments on getting my first Pam! :D

Between ETA movements vs Panerai in house movements, any idea which series gives the least issues? :s11:

Must go AD & fondle them first. See which one turns you on more. I was also contemplating between the Pelagos & Black Bay till I itchy and look over at the Pams. I've never researched on them. Was not even on my shortlist of watches to buy, but cut long story short. I bought the Pam. But I'm still hunting for a Pelagos though..

Well I do agree Panerai is a pretty loud watch though. I did like Panerai Luminor 1950 series but what's stopping me is that most of the 1950s are using the P.900X series caliber, especially the P.9000 where many complained that it doesn't even last 3 years and you have to send in for servicing. But it's a hit or miss case.

Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze kinda caught my eye because of the bronze color and the strap. :s13:

I think you guys can classify me as a pretty loud person :s13:

Put it on a wave vent strap - the original strap buckle kept digging into my wrist.

TGIF!
