while i'm thoroughly enjoying my great white right now, i must honestly admit that the rolex explorer II polar dial with its bolder black outlines looks more striking if they're placed side-by-side together. though the wave dial of the great white looks more interesting up close.

the polar feels really light on wrist, doesn't have a rotating bezel like my great white to tell a 3rd time zone and has only 100m water resistance vs 300m of my great white. my great white feels and weighs more substantial on wrist (41mm vs 40mm), has a sturdier bracelet and superior clasp. one area the polar wins are link screws (vs pins for the great white).

I believe mine should be fine after modding. Lol i placed it into a bowl of water for like 15 seconds and I see no bubble or leakage. Think it should be fine for swimming liao

sorry, Sir! it was me... cos i sent all my "better watches" like my RMs, ALSs, PPs, VCs, APs, Urwerks, MB&Fs, F P Journes & Philippe Dufours for their customary watch spa just before my hi-key ICT. my most shabby beater is that rolex datejust. so it'll have to make do.

next time i wear my platinum day-date to "blend in" since it looks like a s/steel watch to the untrained eye.

oh and i'll make sure to wear the none-diamond version, cos i got the factory diamond version and the custom full pave baguette diamond iced-out baller version, too - you, know... for the odd gala or tatler high society soirees...

there're still cheaper but no agent warranty or only shop warranty.

never shopped online locally, but it seems may qoo(?) or lazada may have cheaper deals - but definitely NO agent warranty at all.
