In stores should be no more.
Your bet is carousell. Waiting for flippers to flip.
If not pretty hard to find since discon.
Maybe leather strap might still be available.
Can try asking smaller AD in Chinatown or lucky Plaza.

as a classic in the making, how long do you think before the rose logo black bay's resale price exceed it's retail price?

btw, have you sold your 2254.50 yet? it should move since it comes with a guarantee card. or has the 2254.50 market soften?

No hurry to sell also so just wait.

Canot afford speedy, solar panda will do fine.
The satin finished dial is a joy to look at. Looks 'creamy' white at different lightings.

What a sweet combination. Got to admit, the look and quality of the strap, plus the excellent service by Blushark is making me tempted to try my Sub on NATO.

I think for our 114060, best to leave it on a bracelet. NATO/Leather strap will look off due to its wider lugs. The SD, not so much since its lugs are slimmer.

i did it on nato, looks solid. somemore on cheaper, thinner nato. will look perfect with shiny weaved nato to go with the bling bling ceramic bezel

Good point, but I reckon it's still worth a try. 1 pro of the Sub over the SD is that the Sub has a flatter profile, so it's not as tall on the wrist as the SD with the Alphashark nato, which is already thicker than most other natos. Given that there's 2 layers of extra thick straps on the wrist for natos, the extra thickness of the Alphashark definitely adds up.

I can let you try the Alphashark straps on. Lemme know if you're up for it. :)

One thing I do wish the Maxi case has is the chamfered edge along the lugs, it helps to soften the look and brings attention to the bracelet/strap. This is something that Audemars Piguet has perfected on the Royal Oak.

I'm not sure if the AlphaShark Black & Silver NATO strap would help to 'soften' the case.

That looks awesome!

The thing that has yet to sway me to NATO is the ergonomics. With the bracelet, the heavier clasp acts as a counter balance to the watch. Also, the larger clasp contours to the wrist, though it results in a number of desk diving marks due to its larger size.

I can let you try the Alphashark straps on. Lemme know if you're up for it. :)

Much appreciated! As you mentioned, the height of the SD sits higher on the wrist, does it experience much shakiness when you move your wrist?

i can tell you honestly, i wear mm300 on nato, its top heavy.
the sub is nowhere near the mm300 weight and height.

sub with bracelet no doubt bloody comfortable, but if you change to nato, its a whole new look.
looks pretty awesome casually.

i would go with a grey or military green or even slate grey with the sub. lol. new strap = new watch for less.

that's how i try to curb my temptations.
