must compensate for labour/time cost to unscrew caseback, remove movement, lift away 3 hands, align the damn thing (including bezel if necessary), replace the hands properly, etc...

but doing so already compromised it's factory certified depth rating... which means another cost item to have it pressure tested. usually independent watchmakers only use dry/air pressure and not wet/water to test... and even then, they only go to 100m water resistance iirc...

want full, factory rated water resistance, maybe have to go back agent's service centre? be it rolex, seiko, etc...
Actually I don't think opening the screwback will destroy the integrity of the waterproofing. I feel that water resistance will be affected if you change the crystal.

Opening or tampering with it regardless which part will affect the integrity. If you do mods or what and didn't get it water pressure tested, it's not going be water resistant as rated.

Looks just nice for you la.

Envy, wish I had bigger wrists. But genetics.

Methinks it's a double-edged sword. Dress watches tend to look better on smaller wrists than they do on bigger ones, which can't pull off the refined look as well, for lack of a better word that comes to mind.

Ssshhh..I go e-mart gai gai. Actually I can't wait to bring the Gshock outfield next week to collect some battle scars. It looks too pristine now..

Greetings from coldrea!

Super cold I didn't even expect this weather :s13:

Nice crystal on that Skx! Between yours and bro Ga Li Kong's mods, am very tempted to mod my Sea Urchin as well.

I recently saw Damien's fb page that he's into making a Matt ceramic bezel for the skx. Who knows he might make one for the urchin as well :D something for you to consider
