Where should I be looking to get one?
I've been around most used dealers, they have all kinds of Presidents except this one.

I remember Poh Heng was flanked by two used rolex dealers. and IIRC it was one of them. but again that was some years ago - got my dd in...... 2013?

really a very nice piece. wife and i saw it on IG and it is on our wishlist for now as well. but need to try it on to see how it actually looks.

did you try to lowball the seller but is now upset that you missed out cos someone more decisive met his price and secure the deal instead?

I would buy all if I had a comfy office job, but my work requires me (and whatever I wear) to get banged up and really dirty every day which is why I wear my ancient Victorinox quartz to work.

Only about twice to thrice a week do I get to wear a nice timepiece - that's the 1 day (or sometimes no) where I get to sit at my desk in office, Fridays when I go to school and Sundays when I go out.

Due to this my Alpinist is feeling very neglected.

What were the prices back then?
I only fear 36 will be too small for me... Ideal size on my wrist would be 38 but these only come in 36. Truly vintage sized...

Seriously...to me watches are wearable art. Not to show off riches or anythng. Thats why I just got a $40 watch box!
