I couldn't agree with you more! The service centre does not address the problem of the watch but only to push the blame back to the consumer for intended mishandling.
I was appalled by the staff remarks when she claimed that the misaligned Chronograph hand was attributed by my action of tapping. Btw, the staff who i spoke to is the manager of the Singapore Swatch Group Service Centre at the wheelock. From her responses, it was clear to see she was insincere to render help and to admit the watch is indeed defective.
Would like to know if there is any way to get a verification from Tissot that their watch is not capable of taking the impact of tapping? Speaking to the staff from the service centre leads no where.
You must have dealt with Vicky Wong.
My understanding and your understanding should be - The watch was already like this under normal circumstance. So it is no fault of yours that it has the problem it already had.
This must be their understanding. By the way, even if you send email to swatch switzerland or their SEA head, also the same thing. Cannot go up chain of command one.
You must insist your way.
My advice to you, for the next course of action is to take photos of the watch, send the photos to yourself thru email to get the timestamp, drop it in again, see her at wheelock place and make them accept it because it is definitely not through any fault of yours that this has happened.
Regardless of whatever that transpired, always remember that it is something related to the internal workings of the watch, and should be dealt with accordingly, and swiftly.
